NICARAGUA
Our work started in 1999 with Knightsbridge International, delivering medical supplies to clinics on the east coast of Nicaragua. While there we decided to electrify a clinic in a small Mesquite Indian village called Ahua Pine. We returned in early 2002 to provide the training and installation work there.
In the central part of Nicaragua, we provided training services to Asofenix in photovoltaics and solar water pumping. Following the training, we worked with several partners to provide solar water pumping to Candelaria - a small village northeast of Managua.
